| #BringBackOurGirls protest: Security beefed up around Villa |
The protesters had threatened to storm the State House 3.00pm today to know what President Goodluck Jonathan was doing to secure the girls' release.
As of the time of filing this report around noon,.... armed security officers were at the two gates leading to the State House.
Policemen and soldiers sighted at the Villa gate from the Fire Service of Asokoro and the Villa gate at the Federal Secretariat end were seen with tear gas canisters, batons and rifles.
It was gathered that the security officers are out to bar the protesters from gaining access to the Presidential Villa.
