Policeman’s Children Beat Pregnant Woman To Coma, Parents Support Them

                                                   Mrs. James on hospital bed
I hope this story is really not true. So much injustice taking place in this country because someone is a mere mobile policeman. Lord have mercy. I really just hope this is not true. And if it is, the man needs to leave their little Idimu community and its police station to make complaints at higher quarters. This is unheard of! The story;
Medical doctors in an undisclosed  private  hospital at Idimu area of Lagos,  are currently battling to save the life of a pregnant woman, Mrs. Gloria James who was allegedly  beaten to a state of coma by children of a Mobile Policeman attached to MOPOL 20, Inspector Richard Ekpo, last Friday.
Unfortunately for the woman, efforts by doctors to save her first  two months pregnancy failed .

Mrs. Gloria Oluwatomiwa James was  allegedly  first attacked by one of  the policeman’s  son identified simply as  Olorunda  in front of her shop at  Idimu Mammy market during a verbal confrontation.

Trouble, as gathered, started  when she  demanded for an apology from Olrunda whom she said stepped on her while he was going to smoke Indian hemp from a local dealer around her shop.

Eye witnesses told Crime Guard that  the  area is not only noted for smoking Indian hemp but also a haven for  cultists . Although, there had reportedly been several raids and subsequent arrests by policemen, but that has not stopped  the deed.

Rather than apologise, Olorunda, as  gathered, reportedly was not any remorseful but confronted her.  He allegedly pounced on the pregnant woman for daring to ask him to apologise and gave her a thorough beating.Consequently she was  rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Crime Guard  learnt also that when her husband went to report the ugly development to the Mobile Policeman, he was also attacked by his children.  The seriously wounded woman narrated how the incident happened to Crime  Guard on her hospital bed.

Explaining with difficulty owing to the bruises on her mouth she said, “Last Friday , I was sitting in front of my boutique because there was no light, when a youn g man came to buy   Indian hemp from one of the local dealers around.  As he was trying to  sneak  in to avoid being seen,he stepped on my feet. As I bent to  move his leg,he asked why  I was  touching him rather than apologise.

Even when I showed  him the sand from the sole of his slippers  that was still on my feet, he still insisted that he didn’t step on me. An argument ensued during which he threathened to deal ruthlessly with me if I opened my  mouth to talk again. Before I could respond, he slapped and started hitting me.

“Other  shop owners who came to rescue me from his grips withdrew immediately they discovered he was the one. This is because everyone is afraid of him in that area.  That was how he continued to hit me, even when I ran  inside my shop.   It took the intervention of a policeman in uniform to rescue me from him.”

She continued, “ As  I was nursing my wound , he came back and demanded that I should give him N18, 000 for his gold necklace.  I told him  I didn’t see any necklace on him when he came and before I knew it, he continued from where he stopped.  He went ahead to destroy my wares… At that point, I ran to a corner of the shop and picked up my phone to call my  husband. Immidiately he saw me, he dared me to call anyone ,boasting that he was the son of a Mobile Policeman and that nobody can do anything to him. When I had the opportunity, I sneaked out to  Idimu Police division to lodge a complain.
Police attitude
“Immediately  I told the policemen that I was beaten by the son of a Mobile Policeman, they looked the other way. Then, all of a sudden, I started feeling funny and started vomiting.  Rather than sympathise with me, the policemen at the counter drove me outside, saying I should not mess up the environment. I went outside as directed and sent a text message to my husband  to rush to the station that I was dying.
“When he came, one of the policemen  told him to take me to the hospital. Even when he appealed  to the policemen to effect the arrest of their colleague’s son who was still destroying things in my shop, they refused.
“Out of pity , one of the policemen  whom I contacted earlier drove in with a van and voluntered to take me to the hospital. We, however , went to my husband’s shop first to take some money. On our way back, we stopped by Inspector  Ekpo’s house to inform him of his son’s action. But his wife walked us out of  her compound.
Another attack
Immediately we came out of the barracks gate, we were attacked by Olorunda, his brothers and their friends. They hit my husband with dangerous objects. In the process I fell down. They kicked me continuously on the stomach until I passed out, only to wake up to find myself in the hospital a week after.”
Collaborating her claim, her husband alleged that when he went to report the case at Idimu division, he was thrown inside the cell on the instruction of the Mobile Policeman whose children manhandled his wife. I was released after four days.
“Again, when I went to open my shop, Inspector Akpo came again with his children to attack me, asking who told me to open the shop. I was teargased inside a supermarket where I had run into to take refuge. Since then, I have not opened my shop,” he lamented.
Following this development, Crime Guard reliably gathered that after getting a strongly worded petition, Force Headquarters, Abuja ordered the immediate arrest of Inspector Ekpo while his children are presently on the run.

Victims Of NIS Tragedy Respond To Moro’s Apology Through Their Counsel

After Leadership Newspaper published Abba Moro’s apology over the death of some Nigerians at the just concluded NIS recruitment exercise, the counsel to the victims deemed it fit to reply the minister through the same newspaper stating that, Moro never apologised to the real victims and they do not know the people he apologised to. He said the matter is already in court, and the Minister is expected to appear on the 22nd of April, 2014 because he has been served. Below is how Leadership Newspaper reports it;

A Statement of ECULAW & CO. and the Due Process Advocates Group
My attention has been drawn to the Leadership online news report on Minister Abba Moro’s apology to Nigerians in respect of the recent ill-fated immigration recruitment exercise. As Counsel to the victims, I bear an obligation to respond on behalf of the victims to avoid the confusion over the Minister’s so-called apology.
For a start, the Minister did not apologize to the real victims of his scam-laden recruitment racket. Rather, the Minister apologised to those he felt he would apologize to. Indeed, the Leadership report captured Minister Moro’s apology accurately in the following opening words:
“The Minister of Interior, Mr. Abba Moro, on Sunday, apologised to Nigerians over the recent botched Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) recruitment.”
Mr Abba Moro apologized to Nigerians at large, and he is certainly justified in that because his actions offended every Nigerian. You may recall that right after the incident, during the Executive Council meeting held on Wednesday, 19th March 2014, Mr. Abba Moro apologized to his colleagues in the President’s Cabinet and the Presidency. Those, in turn, commiserated with and condoled the President for what happened. However, none of such demonstrations crocodile regrets could amount to a show of remorse and true apology to the real victims, my clients. What is happening is the continued politicization of this tragedy by Mr. Moro and his supporters within the Government.
In the lawsuit we filed against Mr. Moro on this matter at the Federal High Court, Abuja, one of the reliefs we request court to grant us is an order of the court, compelling Mr. Moro to apologize to the victims. We also request the court to order Mr. Moro to refund the N1,000 he obtained from each of the victims by false pretense. In the characteristic arrogance of Mr. Moro, he does not want it to be that the court ordered him to do anything. He thus comes up with these false measures to preempt the court and interfere with the administration of justice. First, he and his backers in the Government offered to refund my the victims their money just after Mr. Moro heard about our lawsuit. But they were not serious about that gesture because they did not state the manner and means of effecting such refund. And now, Mr. Moro is coming up with this sham of an apology just to mock his victims further.
It is clear from the so-called apology that Moro did not mean to apologize to anybody. Instead, he is interested in ingratiating himself and trying to look good despite all that happened. Let’s pause for a moment and examine Mr. Moro’s words. He said:
“I want Nigerians to understand the motive and intention behind the entire process of an open and transparent exercise.
“This was the first of its kind in the ministry and it was intended primarily to give employment to Nigerians, irrespective of background and connections.’’
Nowhere in his words did Mr. Moro admit that he did anything wrong. And that is a key element of every apology. Also, he did not show any remorse, and he did assure the victims that he would not repeat his conduct. Rather, Mr. Moro extols his actions as something that amounted to “an open and transparent exercise”. He further described what he did as wanting to “give employment to Nigerians, irrespective of background and connections.” But that is a big lie. Otherwise, how many children of Nigerian Ministers and Senators were among those that suffocated and were trampled upon at the various stadiums on 15th March 2014? Mr. Moro knows that only the poor and unconnected Nigerians were victims of this botch exercise. So, he lies in his teeth when he claims he was out to do something for Nigerians irrespective of connections and backgrounds.
Mr. Moro must accept responsibility for his actions. He should start by resigning as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Until then, all he has been doing has been a desperate effort to justify his remaining in office as a Minister. His dishonesty and equivocations on this matter are now as laughable as they are disturbing. He knew because that was the group he targeted with his recruitment racket. To show Mr. Moro’s lack of seriousness, he first blamed this tragedy on the victims. And only recently, he rented some crowd to organize a solidarity march for him, again blaming the tragic events on the victims and those he claimed wanted to politicize the incident.
Whether my clients would accept Mr. Moro’s apology depends on whether there is an apology to accept. As at this moment, Mr. Moro has not issued an apology to them and there is thus nothing for them to accept. We have a case that is pending in court. Mr. Moro has received notice to appear in court and he understands that he should be in court on April 22, 2014 to explain himself. That is the only thing on the table for the time being and that is the only thing we are focused on now.

A 500 level student of the federal University of Technology Minna, named Godwin Edeko has been arrested by the Niger State Police for allegedly cutting off his girlfriend's head after having carnal knowledge of her for three days.

Some of the neighbours who spoke to Channels Television explained that they became suspicious when they heard the dead girl, simply identified as Hanatu, screaming and the suspect dashing out of his room.

They further mentioned that after some time without hearing any sound from the girl who had been with the suspect for three days without coming out, they forcefully opened the door of the room only to find the headless body of Hanatu with blood stains all over the room.

Niger State Police Public Relation Officer, Pius Edoko while confirming the incident explained that although the suspect had confessed to the crime, the command is yet to establish the motive of the crime.

He however said the investigation is ongoing with a view to crack down other people involved in the crime as the severed head was recovered from an uncompleted building in Bosso.

CAPITAL PUNISHMENT: MAN POURS WATER ON GIRL'S VAGINA.

According to PM News, a 33 year old man, Mr. Solarin Muyiwa, poured hot water on the private part of his 14 year old daughter, because the young girl allegedly licked soup from the pot. He came home, his wife (the girls step mum) told him she caught the teenage girl licking soup from the pot and he reacted by beating her with a wooden stick, forcing her to put her hands in hot water and pouring some of it on her private part, damaging part of her vagina in the process. The incident happened about two weeks ago, in Ikorodu, Lagos.

A neighbour noticed what had happened to the girl and called the authorities. The father was arrested and the young girl was taken to the hospital, where she's currently undergoing treatment.
This is capital punishment and very wicked!
